okay... i just recently did a swap with my fresh engine and im about 2,000 miles in and i was driving on a rainy day... and its was like sputtering only when i like got on the gas even if the car was at like 4 grand so not a choking of too much fuel thing... checked the intake isnt wet... so i dont know what was up... parked it for the night came back out the next morning to leave and it didnt want to start, didnt turn over, but all the power to the car was there light, cluster, radio, so not a dead battery... so im like well wtf... i then said to myself the main relay would control all this stuff so i grabed one that i have laying around... put it in... it was turning over put no fire so i shut it off got my grandfather to turn the key to hear if the fuel pump was coming on... nothing?.... so i went to my teg and i pulled the relay box and put it in my hatch... fired right up... so i took the hatches relay put it in the teg, the teg fired right up swaped them back to the orginal cars... it was like the problem never existed... weird and i call any one have any idea's haha... this is stupid

still sounds like your main relay is bad. If you hit it while you try and start the car it will open per say. In other words it sounds like when you were moving things about you jarred it just enough to make it work again. It should work for awhile now but i suggest getting a new one to be safe.

 

i dont think its the main relay now... it happend to me again just from me moving the car in my drive way to another park spot... is there like a sensor in the trans that will cause this... i kept switching out relays and still got nothing... check the ground wires... and then i go inside and just was the wtf... and then my dad hoped in and started wiggling the shifter and it started... i tried starting it in gear several times and in neutral..
