Will A/C and Cruise from 1997 LX Sedan swap into 99 CX Hatch??
Hello,
I have a 99 CX Hatchback and there is a 1997 LX (Canada) Sedan in salvage that is loaded with options. Will the A/C and/or Cruise swap directly into my 99 CX?
I tried searching a number of different places, but as soon as "swap" is in the title, it's all about engines.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Justin

your hatch may or may not have the vacuum hookups on the intake manifold for the cruise control my 97 didnt and for A/C you will need to remove the duct work under the dash to install the A/C core but all ac parts should just bolt on i did it to my hatch and im just working some bugs out now
What year was your donor car? I thought I had read that the 97-98 and 99-00 were different in certain ways. I am wondering if this applies to the A/C and cruise.
i used the plumbing from a 98 as well as the A/C core, compressor and mounting bracket i used a condenser , the condenser fan and wiring from a 97 so everything is pretty much out of a 96-98 car
the cruise is from the 98 car too but my y7 intake manifold doesnt have the vacuum plug on the side also you will need a new pedal assembly with the lever for the cruise cable to attach
