I'm throwing some springs and shocks on her soon, dont worry guys. Lets hope it helps my overall mpg! haha

BTW; that gas was super overpriced - it was way of the 1 hwy, faarrrrr from any real freeway, hence the price. In LA right now its around 4.25 for 87 tho.

Man where ever that gas station is, they should be reported for price gouging.

OMG!! Businesses are charging whatever they want in a capitalist, free market economy?! Atrocious and despicable!

Hey, if you don't want to pay it, keep moving to the next station. You complain about it but you still ended up giving them 10 bucks anyway, so in the end, they win, you lose.

At least you're getting 50mpg though

Currently, all she has are 15x7 forged FN's with 205-50-15 on it. Helps keep the MPG in check.

OEM wheels w/ tires - 32.5 pounds
FN's with ricer tires - 30.1 (ish) pounds

I'm putting on her;

Tokico blues/prokit (tempted to put CO's, but really no need)
Progress rear sway (22 rear, for DC5)

I've auto'xed her, and its still a blast. (Its a manual) A exhaust...will probably do nothing. Its a 1.3L engine guys!

Shes about 120 pounds or so more than a non-hybrid.

You realize a ton of that money goes to the middle men too right? And the state/govt? A barrel of oil = to exxon is peanuts. (Less than 20 bucks a barrel)

one thing to think about with your wheel and tire combo is that most hybrids have lower rolling resistance tires from the factory, not sure if the HCH does.

I have kumho asx's on my civic and they suck for mileage since they are more made for grip and such .

Great point. I think I may pick up 3% total if I went to LRR tire (low resistance rated) tire - however they are unsafe IMO. Undeersteer city all the time, because they are hard as rocks.

Current tires are dunlop Direzzas - around 280 tw.

I may just get a 195-55-15 with a 300 + TW tire. See if that helps
