Hey guys
I got a 5th gen a few days ago and I'm going to be putting it on the road today.
Its front bumper has a slight sag which is noticeable where the bumper meets the fender near the headlights. I haven't tried to take off the bumper yet but I was wondering how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance

I'm not really sure, a member on this forum got a new bumper from a friend's crashed Prelude, he said that fixed the problem. So I'm thinking it's the bumper itself that gets worn and the plastic loosens up. I don't think the metal onto which they are screwed would wear out like that.
But don't quote me on that.

Which part of the clip are you trying to break free? There are two parts to it, a head, and then the clip. You're supposed to loosen the head which will pop up, thus releasing the clip.

the plastic clips right, do they just spin and spin, if that dont put that much preasure and hold the outside of the clip so it wont spin while ur trying to unscrew it.

The clip does not screw in, it pressed into the hole, and is held in place with the head of the clip locked in.

Right so how can I remove them without damaging or breaking them?

Stick a small screwdriver into the slot on the clip, and wiggle it till it makes its way under the "head". Then twist the screwdriver slowly and it will pop up. If it breaks, that means the plastic is old and brittle and there is no way around breaking it.

i took off the rebar and added washers to the bottom two bolts that hold up the rebar. this forces the rebar to angle up thus forcing the bumper to sit higher. i have never suffered from bumper sag as my bumper sits flush with the fender. i'll try and snag a pic later.
