gasoline in engine
If you restrict the fuel injectors from pulsing, and your spark plugs from sparking, cranking your engine over should purge out some of the gas. But I would presume this would cause a CEL to come on (FI and misfire codes)
Are you not getting spark? Letting the car sit for a while should allow the fumes to die down to allow you to start the car and burn off the rest...I would try letting it sit first.

you should probably be more concerned with why gasoline is pooling in your motor, purging it out isnt gunna fix it, however depending how long gas sat inside your motor, your probably gunna wanna do an oil change or something cause gasoline has a nasty habit of flaking bearings
