Question for timing on a 93 accord
So heres the scenario.
Picke up a 93 accord LX from work for a daily, and it was running just fine. i took it to the car wash to clean up under the hood and half way through a light spray down it starts running like crap. I tried to drive off and was doin ok, but with a slight miss, but got it under a hard load and it died and now wont restart. Its getting spark and fuel and the compression gauge is showing 180 across the board. So im wondering if it might have just jumped a tooth or if something electronic got wet. My question is, if i pull the valve cover and line up the mark on the cam, can i use the timing marks on the flywheel to see if it jumped time, or do i need to tear it all the way apart? Im gonna let it dry over night and while im at work.
