Hey im about to buy a 1997 honda civic cx, which doesnt come with power steering or ac, and im just wondering if i can put ps and ac in the car.

 

Yes. you always can add the optional accessories to the engine, the only problem is you have to add EVERYTHING associated with them (AC lines, PS lines, change rack and pinion, etc.).

You can do it, it's just a lot of work.

The problem isn't the accessory, you can find a after market from your local auto shop (O'Riely's, auto zone, etc.) or factory part (junk yard, dealer, etc.).

It's the time investment getting too the parts that will kill you. Your best bet is finding someone who is stripping their car down to make a track car and buy the stuff from them.
