Ways to increase HP?
Well if you guys haven't noticed my recent posts, I'm getting a new GSR and I was planning to put a new intake and exhaust on that bad boy. I noticed that this forum shares a common interest in their choice of suspension (Koni Yellows + Ground Control) and i was wondering if there is a certain intake/exhaust that is ideal for an Integra. I want to increase as much HP as possible.
its got a b18c1 if that helps.
Year '94 or '96. I dont care if the exhaust is loud or w/e

You dont want to make your decision based on how much HP you will gain. It will be minimal if any. You will be better off finding something you like the sound of. Check out different sound clips people post up.

i do agree with the 2.5" and go with a cat-back exhaust not just the muffler, i like Skunk2

WTF are you talking about? You either don't know **** or have no experience with Kteller and their weld up exhaust kit, so shut you mouth or do some research before you start running your trap.
Yeah, who gives a crap what exhaust you like, those aren't even 2.5" systems

Speaking of that.
I'm looking for a 3" exhaust setup for my Integra. The exhaust they have, which excludes the muffler, do you have to weld anything? or is it all just bolt on until you get to the rear of the exhaust which would require welding for the muffler?

Yeah, the kit bolts up to your stock cat, then the following pieces are slip fit, then you just weld up your muffler of choice, a resonator is a good idea if you want a quieter system.

what do you plan to do? just have a bunch of horse power? intake and exhaust aren't going to increase horse power that much, you'll get like 10 tops. but it'll make you engine breath better.
honestly i see you in SD so i would say AEM cold air intake and then go down to san yasidro and go to a place called sam's mufflers and radiator and he will do 2.5 inch with a new cat and what ever muffler you bring along for like 100 ish, but you have to haggle alittle and speaking Spanish is a good thing there

That's a good price as long as he uses a mandrel bender, if it's a crush bender forget about it.

what does that say? im pretty sure that says 60mm aka 2.5" piping right there, and no, i dont know kteller ****, but apparently you should do some research too before you start running your trap

You ignorant fool do the math, 60mm is only 2.36" A true 2.5" exhaust is 63.5mm. And don't give me that **** that 2.36" is close enough to 2.5" cause it isn't, the difference in cross sectional area is very noticeable when going from a 2.36 to a 2.5" diameter. Learn something about SI to Metric conversion and about measuring pipe diameter. Try again fool

63.5mm (2.5") gives a cross sectional area more than 10% larger than that of the 60mm (2.36").
If you're looking to make a lot of horsepower in the future, you're going to need something even larger than 2.5" Make an educated decision so you don't waste money, unless of course you have money you don't mind wasting (in which case send some my way! I need an exhaust system too

if you want power, mugen intake with a hytech header and hytech exhaust. seeing as how you're in san diego where they're dick heads about modifying cars, i'd go with as much carb legal equipment as possible. aem intake along with a JDM itr header with heatshield and exhaust will serve you well and keep you from getting hassled

People go .25mm all the time. The stock sleeves can handle 82mm bore.
