Default FS: DLS 257 Classic 5x7's coaxials w/ Scosche 6x9-->5x7 adapters

As title states, selling a basically brand new, never installed pair of Swedish DLS classic 5x7's (perfect for rear fill applications, etc) in retail packaging w/instructions and included in-line passive crossovers. They are a very nice sounding pair 2-way coaxials featuring 16mm tweeters. 50watts nom/80watts max ratings. Also will include free of charge a pair of Scosche 6x9 to 5x7 adapter plates already pre-cut by me that will allow you to mount these babies in a stock 6x9 location.

Please note that there is a flaw in one of the speakers. When I recieved the speakers via UPS a few days ago, somehow one of the cones got damaged while in transit (still not sure how it was possible) and arrived with a crack originating near the tinsel lead glue to the speaker surround (only in the speaker cone though, surround is not damaged at all). I, however, tested out both speakers yesterday on my home theatre system and can re-assure 100% that this flaw does not affect speaker performance whatsoever...even with the crack. However, as a preventative measure, I ran a small trace of glue on both the top and bottom of the crack and let the driver run overnight with some test tones. The crack is repaired and speaker still sounds identical to the undamaged driver. I'll offer a 100 percent refund if you can notice any discernable sound difference. If you want me to take a quick youtube video also showing that the driver is fine while running bass intensive music, I can do that as well.

<FONT SIZE=""3"">Price is 80 dollar shipped OBO via USPS Priority</FONT>. I'll also cover paypal expenses. Was definitely going to keep them after finding out today that the speakers still worked just like new, but decided to put the funds into my active setup and sound deadening. Need to make space in the house as well...have equipment stacking up like crazy. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking!
