jdm headlights
Yes you can put HIDs into non HID JDM headlights. I would guess the main difference between the two are the low-beam projectors, the HIDs in my non-HID headlights don't have the greatest light output.
wow, are these serious replies?
OEM HID projectors put out a MUCH better pattern without almost any glare. It has a wider beam, nice cutoff, and great appearance. Regular headlamps are made for halogen bulbs so it doesn't give you all of that nice stuff. Do a search on here and you can find a much more detailed comparison and some picture comparisons.

yes you can. the diff is that the NON hid comes with regular bulbs and headlights duh. it still has the projectors so id suggest just getting nonhid type R headlights then installing some nice HID kits.
