Default No spark after charging dead battery

Accord was running great. I parked it for several weeks and the battery ran completely down. I recharged the battery without taking off battery cables. The battery is now recharged but I get no spark at plugs. Timing belt and fuel check ok. What have I done to the spark or merely a coincidence after charging battery?

This is a '92 Accord. Does anyone know if the main relay could cause this problem or does it only control the fuel pump?

so the car is turning over but just no spark right ? did you touch any grounds ? if all grounds are good, id resistence check the coil, if that checks out ok next is the distributor. give me a sec and ill look up which points on the coil to test.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the car is turning over fine, it just has no spark. All grounds are good. I checked the coil resistance and both primary and secondary check within limits. This is an EX with the internal coil. If it turns out I need a new distributor are the aftermarket ones OK or do I need to go with an OEM?

O ok i took a guess whether it was ex/lx. I bought mine from dist king off ebay,I DONT reccomend them at all. I went through hell with them to get the right dizzy. They had what was supposed to be mine advertised wrong. it was a pain to say the least. Once i finally got the "correct" dizzy the connector needed modding to snap in. on the other side i have read tons of post where others here have had no probs at all with them.

If i could do it over i woulda bought from Honda just for the peace of mind.
