I have an 89 DX hatch and I would like to convert it to mpfi. Which intake manifolds from the d series motors will work, any of them regardless of being 1.5 or 1.6? My friend has a complete one from his 92 Si hatch (D16Z6) and I could always buy some 88-91 Si injectors. I just want to make sure the mounting holes and ports will line up on which ever one it is that I buy.

 

you'll be good w/ the z6 head....you'll just have to extend some plugs out to some sensors....you'll probably be doing that anyway..

 

I'm not getting the head, just the manifold to convert my dpfi to mpfi. That's why I want to know what model/years, if not all D series intake manifolds from 88-00 will fit my D15B2 motor.

 

sorry...meant manifold not head...most any d series manifold will bolt up no problem, except for the zc and the a9, etc... stick w/ the sohc mani's and you'll be good.
