vafc
Just like to know how oyu guys feel about these. Are they worth it for a stock engine? I keep hearing about the butt pains of wiring it in. Should i juts put a vtec sticker on my car...would that do the same thing(j/k)
They really won't do much for a stock engine except you can lower your vtec engagement point which will give nice gains. It will let you know what's going on as far as monitoring things like intake manifold pressure,(accurate) RPMs,vtec on or off, throttle position.
Oh yeah,it looks pretty cool too!

my car runs rich from 3000 up to red line.. when I got the vafc, i lowered my fuel and it runs a lot better..
so even on a stock engine depends on your circumstances it might benefit

The VAFC is one of those mods that work great with the addition of other mods such as Intake, Header, Exhaust, cams, etc. It allows you to fine tune your motor, it especially smooths hp/torque curve on your Vtec engagement point. It also allows you to richen and lean-out where you need it. Make sure you take your ride to the dyno to tune it. The butt dyno wont work for this one
