F41 VS r6
Thinking about getting a new bike soon, Looking at either the f41 or the r6, I had a r1 for about a year but getting laid off I had to OFF the bike. I wont really be racing the bike much, just a daily driver, they both look great, just wondering what some of your thoughts and opinions are. Thanks guys.
yea I posted this on a few Bike boreds and basically got a bunch of bullshit about how I need to learn to ride first (Even tho I had a bike for 2 years before) ETC ETC touchy bunch are the bikers.

the '03 r6 will be fuel injected as opposed to the past r6 which was carb'd. FI will help the smooth shift from partial to full throttle and drivability. Other than that, my only complaint of the r6 was the foward riding position, the f4i is a bit more comfortable to ride around town than the r6. At this moment, I ride an f4i and have no complaints, selling it tho
Yes the R6 is supposed to be FI for 03 but Yamaha hasn't released the "official" bulletin yet.
As for daily driving, the F4i is the way to go. Reason for saying so...my car is down for a blown headgasket, so I've been using the bike as my mode of transport...needless to say, my hands go knumb due to the aggressive riding stance. I'm really not used to riding in traffic and casual. I am used to hitting every backroad that has no car and smooth pavement with lots of curves.
If that is all you are looking to ride...then get the R6... but wait for the press release. My friend bought an 02 R6 and then found out about the 03 and now wants to trade it.
