Default my build thread

yooooo whats good! ive had this hatch since feb. 2007 and ive been building it ever since before that i had an EJ1. when i purchased this hatch it was a BONE stock 96-98 ek & AUTOMATIC !!! so tell me what u think about the progress.

ps. im looking for mr. alex brackets and a passenger side ctr headlight.

first thing i did was put on a 00 front w/ cf hood and paint it

after that i changed out the interior harness, fuse box, and ac boxes because i wanted a fully functional 00 climate control

a ili while later i saved up and bought kyb 8-way adjustable shocks and skunk2 drag launch coilovers and slipstreams

built this ls/vtec for tha hatch... in my bedroom! lol.. lack of a garage- gotta improvise!

i got rid of that crank pully and i now have a morosso oil pan, 70mm tb, and some other goodies.

some guy swerved in front of me and brake check the **** outta my front end!!! lol,... back @ the body shop 4 months after it first got painted

also had the ctr wing, cf hatch, mirrors and some other stuff painted, cleared or any combination of both.

i love s2k seats... im 6'5 in a hatch... i need em to fit comfortably
reds / blacks look better tho!

the lsv went in some time around now ish.

paint vc, add intake

the new lip was a downgrade IMO and so were the wheels. But thats just me.
As an S2k owner i hate to see S2k seats AND a S2k steering wheel in a civic for the known reasons. Other than that car came along pretty well.

Dre, your car has definitely come a long way. Not a fan of carbon fiber or red on red, but car is clean!

its ok, nothing special. good job with building the motor yourself. could use a wire tuck, better seats, and rims imo. do i spy NAWZZZ! hahahaaha

btw you didn't need to change the fuse box and interior harness to do the 99-00 climate control conversion.
