anyone running 16x8 ce28's??
Better question...why do you think you want to run a 16x8?
8" wide wheels on a DC2 will work, but the only advantage you'll gain from the width is if you choose a proper tire for a specific application.

I used to run 16x8 spoon Sw388 wheels and I didn`t like way they looked on the car, cant go with little offset because they`ll hit from the back and with the right offset they will stick out too far. plus you can`t lower the car very much with that width of a rim.
i wanted 225 45 16 also on mine, but just went with a full set of 215 45 16 as my rears are still 7"
the 215 on the 8" at the front is ok i guess as it reduces the rub and tucks inside the factory guard with a small stretch.. however for the right purpose i need to run 225 45 16
but i guess 215 45 is ok as this retains the factory 98 spec size tyre, which seems to work on the 98's

an 8 inch wide wont rub at stick height i dont think but if your lowered then you will run into rubbing problems, alot of guys have to roll the rears and the one pictured above has flared front fenders on it.
they will rub if you have a stock suspension.
the springs on my car are 4X as stiff as stock -- so I have very little wheel travel.
the rear fenders are rolled and repainted.
the front fenders have been cut and fender flares added. I'm also running a 22mm spacer on the front

good god that car is hot! Looks fast just sitting there. Any more pics for us? Were did you get the wheels from? How well did the front fit before the flares? Offset?
