Bought New Header. its like a vision knock off header they sale on weaksos. i bought it from a guy who custom made like 15 of them i and i bought one.
going to dyno this week to see how much extra i put down.
also bought a benen strut bar and paint matched it to cusco blue. also did a few other things for now.
im waiting on cams/springs and retainers, tb, and other things to come in to start a mild build but ill keep this thread updated.

are you really going to leave that stupid fake mugen symbol in the grill?
the engine bay looks nice but i doubt youll make much more if any more than stock with that intake

That intake is worse than a DC2R stock intake!
My friend had one on his JDM 98spec DC2R and we dynoed it before with stock, and after with that intake, and it was worse than oem. + your gettin lots of heat soak aswell

That is what I was JUST thinking. In my own personal experience, I ended up having to wrap my Hytech because it was slowly melting my slimline fan. I had more or less the same amount of gap as you.
It's not as if the plastic will burst into flames, but you will notice after a few long distance trips that areas of the fan shroud will start to warp and melt.

Looks good, but I don't like that lip. I like the original CF spoon/spoon style lip that doesn't have the "curve" in the middle of the lip.
