Default 93 Prelude, i need help iding the head

i bought a 93 prelude from a guy who said that engine was dead. so he rebuilt it and put a vtec head on it. i know it has an H23A block. and a P14A head. i can't find anything on a p14 head. so can someone help me out. i know 30 over and roller rockers. full header with 2 1/4 all the way out.

i think the P14 head is the H23 head.. the P13 head is VTEC for sure though. im not sure about the P14 head but i figured it would make sense since a P14 is the same code as the H23 ECU

i think youve got a h22 v-tec head on your ride. seeing as non v-tec heads will not fit v-tec motors. Im not 100%, but i think p14 code is h22 vtec heads. but the h23a is a v-tec motor. so youve got a v-tec motor on your hands

Well, I know there are no roller rockers for an H23 unless they are one-off custom pieces.

If you have seen the rockers to know they are roller rockers, then you would have seen if the cams had a VTEC lobe or not right?

WTF are you talking about???? I'm pretty sure you could put an H23 non-VTEC head on an H22 block if you wanted.

Wrong.

P13 is the stamp found all over H22A/A1/A4 engines. P14 is the code found stamped all over H23A1 motors.. JDM H23A Vtec, iirc still has a P13 head. Some things on a H23 will have parts marked P13 (i.e. plenum), which are interchangeable with the h22.

this is the OP's scenario:
