1500 is nuts. should easily be fixable. you shouldnt need a new bumper or fender.

Instead of posting this on the internet, go drive to a few shops and get some quotes.

$1,500 is not right either.

It is kinda high, but depending on the condition of your paint, they might have to repaint a lot of the car and try to blend it in. Again, $1500 is high. Keep in mind though, you get what you pay for.

That price IS high, but if I were you i'd get a new fender and bondo the bumper, some would disagree. That fender probably could be bent back, but it's not worth the hassle.

I'd say 500-700 depending on the shop for the bodywork right there.

You could try to find a passenger side fender and front bumper off another S2000 of the same color. That would definitely be cheaper than the quote you were given.

damn, 1500.....i got a quote to have a DC2 full bodywork, including replacing both rear quarter panels for 1500. and yes, thats before paint. you should just find another fender, bumper and lip and just have it paint matched. or even better if you can find it in the same color.

if your near alameda give dream autoworks a call. they do good work and i kno for sure its less then 1500. it was around 300 to get my entire bumper and lip to be repainted. im sure they can blend it pretty well. or like others said fine one of the same color.

the reason they qouted you 1500, is because even though they COULD fix the panels and repaint them, they would rather replace them and charge you 1500. Screw that place, sand them down yourself and take them to a shop, have them sprayed, take them home and install them yourself.

USA Touch Up next to the Sharks tank in Downtown San Jose. The last time i went there for an estimate, i got friendly service, a good price, and saw a bunch of dealer cars. i asked them why they were there and they said they do dealer cars on a regular basis as well. i saw bmws to subarus. cars looked showroom condition when they were done.

i had damage much lighter than that, just a cracked bumper and headlight, crinkled fender, and the insurance co paid $2500 for that. and insurance co's are tight, they won't pay up unless they have to.

A friend of mine had his front bumper painted on his S2000 at a local dealer's body shop and it was $500 without having to replace any parts. You get what you pay for and especially with an S2000 I bet that fender for an OEM one is not cheap at all. If I were you I'd take it to a few other places and pick the one that can show you the best quality work for the best price.

on my 6th gen civic i tore off my whole front bumper, support, brackets, broke one headlight, bent the core support, messed up both fenders, and bent my hood.

I bought most of the replacement parts, a friend of a friend hooked me up, it was only $300.

I say try find a new fender and bumper at a junkyard, have it painted, and buy the lip yourself
