H22a with h22a tranny in a accord 93 5speed.... help please.

I would try one of these from Sears...

I have used them a couple times and they work good.

use exactly what touring accord posted. Or if you think you can slide the tranny away from the block just cut the head off and then when the trans is out grab it with a pair of vice grips and loosen it.

or hammer a one mm or standard smaller socket on it and try to take it off, that has worked before as well. the best way is what touring said.

thanks for all your input i went with what you said Touring an picked up that set at Sears, my bolt was very bad almost completely round and also tight as hell.....
I sprayed some wd-40 an let it sit over night and this morning I went to remove it with that set and i was surprised it grabbed very very good and i used a breaker bar an i got it out!!!!!!!!YES. thanks again im gonna finish dropping the tranny here in a bit. Any suggestions on a new clutch cause that's what im replacing, I currently have a ACT stage 2 its a 4 puck i believe ill find out when i drop the tranny i had the clutch for about 3 years and it finally went bad I cant put it in gear at all. I just hope its the clutch and not the tranny...

glad it worked out for you.

I don't usually care for most of those bolt-out and screw-out deals but these have worked each time I've needed to use them.
