Primer (lacquer based ones) absorbs moisture. It will even absorb some of the humidity out of the air, if it's muggy where you live. 3 things can happen to your car after you paint it. The moisture can get to the metal and start rusting it. The water can rise to the surface and screw up your paint. Or nothing'll happen, because a lot of people leave primer on FOREVER with no bad effects. My primer's been on for 7 months (6 were the previous owner's) and there's no rust issues. I would krylon over that black primer to keep the same look but protect the body
This is exactly why I am sick of this site....everyone feels the need to be an ***. Thanks to the people that actually gave me some positive feedback. Who cares if i drove my car black primer, I like flat black. I would rather spend 3k on a motor then 3k on a paintjob. So all you bitches that have a problem with primered cars, dont drive one and quit bitchin.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. If your gonna be an ***-******* ******, dont post or vote. Just go get back on top of your mom and spend some quality time with her.
