which is easier?
ok i've tried searchin and looking around but found nothing, ok so i gotta put a clutch in my 94 integra, i have an engine hoist, would it be easier to pull the engine and tranny, then put the clutch in. Or just pull he tranny? reason i ask is a guy told me it's much easier to just pull the engine, i would've thought pullin the tranny would be quicker.
i have changed the clutch n my integra and jus droppin the tranny would b a lot easier.. i wouldnt pull the whole engine.. i have done that n my swaps and it isnt fun so i would jus pull the tranny man. save ur self the time and hassle
look at it this way if the car needs a t-belt and water pump oil pan gasket rear main or any other major repairs pull out the hole thing, the only bad thing about pulling out the tranny by itself is that if you are doing in on the floor is going to be a pain and you are going to need 2 people to make it easy.
ah, well i just replaced the timing belt and water pump prolly 5k ago, my rear main seal is gone but not worried about it cause my ls/vtec is nearly coomplete, probably another month or so, so looks like i'll just remove the tranny, oh and i'm doin it by myself but dads a mechanic so i got all the tools i will need
