Hey guys, need some help here...

I wanted to take off my front platers for a cleaner look on my '97 Accord. But I'm having the hardest time with the plate "frame" removal. By this, I mean the black plastic mount that the plate is actually screwed on to. I unscrewed the plate with ease but I just cannot figure out what tool to use to undo this mount. If you have a 5th gen accord (and prolly other gens, not exactly sure though) you know what im talking about. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks

You mean the 2 10mm bolts up underneath it?

 

lol yes i do, but for some reason i just cannot position any tool right to get it off.

 

a 10mm socket works for me with an extension......
