i have a 95 civic hatchback dx. and i need a new AC compressor, and i called a junkyard about one, and they said there are 2 different kinds/brands of ac compressors that honda used for my year of car. and he said there should be a sticker on mine saying what kind it is, and unfortunately i dont see no sticker on my ac compressor. does anybody know what brand mine should be? .. if i end up getting the wrong brand will it still work or no? and isnt it R-134? .. any help is appreciated.

Why are you getting an AC Compressor from a junkyard in the first place. Compressors go bad all the time, why not get one form a parts store for a little more money and make sure it actually works.

 

well its only 30 bucks from the junkyard.
