Default Engine badge question

So so so my fuel problems and questions may have just been answered!

People were always saying they got 35-40 mpg from their stock d16 crx si's. The best I got was 37 and worst was 29. Always been super light on the pedal I wondered where are those other 3 mpg going?

Yesterday I changed the valve seals and as I was putting the valve cover back on I look down and it says "ZC" on my badge. A light suddenly turns on... Wow I never even thought that could be the problem. But just wanted to make sure a stock US crx si 1990 should say "d16" correct?

So I just wanted to make sure lol. Also what is the mpg of a sohc zc in a crx? Around 30-35?

Edit: also wanted to know does a o2 sensor and a fuel pump from a stock crx si work on a sohc zc?

Same damn thing as an A6.

Why does this keep happening?

I routinely got 38-40 with mine on the highway.
