Well, it's come time for me to bid adieu to the moderating team here.

I'm giving it up for a few reasons:
1. It can be an extremely time-consuming project.
2. I constantly get labeled as the "jerk" for trying to point people in the right direction or keep the forum cleaned up.
3. Even helping people can cause an argument.
4. Hard dedication and countless hours put into developing decent information go nearly unnoticed and unappreciated.
5. (most of all) I've got some serious opportunities coming up, if I push myself hard enough to achieve them.


I'll still venture through here from time to time, but not at any regular interval. Take care everyone, and best of luck.


PS. For whomever gets put in as the new moderator, drop me a PM and I'll forward all my existing files for the stickied threads.

Sorry to see you go! You know your Civics! I wish I would have found out about this site sooner and picked your brain.

Trying to be a mentor and an moderator can be stressfull and a full time job. Being a moderator, you need thick skin and let things bounce off you.

But if chances come up in your personal life, take them.

this is what happens when the mods go unappreciated in a forum when theyve done so much. the build thread, the FAQ, and the constant locking of stupid threads in order to keep everything clean. i think ours was the best section in all of HT. who else has a custom build thread? no one. and even if they did, they took after OUR section. looks like everythings going down the ******* now

If anyone was still wondering, yes I'll be attending Import Alliance still. I've had that vacation planned since last year, and even this change in personal life won't stop me from pursuing that adventure.

thats beat...i know we've gone tit for tat but the info alone and unbiased opinions alone are worth their weight in gold. no one shall replace you. a true gentleman who keeps his cool among all the unapreciative asses (including myself at time) and always looks for a feasible solution to help any and everyone. your efforts go without saying, remarkable! where will i got when i have a problem or am stumped? u know it all and if u dont u sure do have ways of finding the solution

I have a great idea toyomatt84. You should make me moderator. Since I don't know anything, I will be a horrible moderator. Everyone will then have ask you to come back and you will have no choice but to.
