Default downpipe

how the heck to you get it off! I have an ES1 lx model and recently got a magnaflow cat back and tried to put it on but couldnt take the original down pipe off. Seemed to me as their wasnt enough room to fit my wrench on the top bolt to take off the spring assemblies. Rather than pay out of the *** to get it down anybody who can help out would be appreciated!

you mean the bolts connecting to the downpipe im assuming? not removing the the downpipe correct? hmm it should be a fairly easy job, but if you are having that much trouble you can take it to a muffler shop or local mechanic to take it off. basically let the car cool down so the metal is not expanded, spray it with wd40, and use a little elbow grease

PB Blaster is a better penetrator than WD-40. WD-40 is water based, an PB Blaster is silicone based. WD-40 is designed to be more of a lubricant. It doesn't really do much at all for breaking stuck bolts free.

What are you attempting to accomplish? Did you need to replace the piping with something original or aftermarket?
