Default s2k antenna.

My current antenna on my 01 itr wont go up, instead of trying to fix, i figured i should do a s2k antenna conversion. Ive done my research and still a little confused on what parts i need for this not only to look good but to actually work...some people i have talked to said i need a homeade kit for this to work, but there has to be oem parts that i can buy without spending a fortune for this to work. Which parts do i need to buy from this diagram and other parts that may not be in this diagram!? Thanks for any constructive feedback.

Another alternative is to plug the antenna hole and use this type of antenna. This is the route I went with and I think it works great.

I have the same thing mounted in the A pillar of my 01' ITR. Works alright but car looks 10x better now with my antenna shaved off

Purchased this for my integra. Came with everything needed to install. IMO makes the car look much nicer instead of having that giant antennae.

I originally did the S2K intenna and it was total crap so no I have one like this and it is powered by the same cord that pushes the stock intenna up and down So it gets GREAT reception.

Metra makes it, available at Kragen. The style shown above. Autoloc makes another looking style (#2 in the link below) There's also a no name brand, which works just as well that a seller on eBay sells.

Style #1 - http://cgi.ebay.com/HIDDEN-AMP...wItem

Style #2 - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
