Here's the latest:

I'm having a debate with myself about Accords. Mine is a complete pos, which is how I learned how to fix a LOT of stuff on it. I'd like to get a new one (read: used '94 in good shape) and build the engine up nicely. I've got a plan and a car picked out and everything. I can't get a brand new car, because my wife and I want a house first.

So I'm debating whether or not to get the new Accord and build it, or wait til I decide on a better RWD or AWD car to build. It's a tough choice, because I love the look and styling of the 5th gen Accord but am stuck on the fact that it's a FWD car.

 

i know EXACTLY what you mean!!! i want to get rid of mine....i MIGHT be able to but i dunno....the thing is if i get a new car i have to pay for it when a lot of help from my parents...and i think right now even tho we have enuff money they are paying for my moms car she got for christmas and my parents are moving to a bigger house and i am transfering school after this next semester....so they have a few things to take care of at the moment...but i guess for now ill keep the cord and do the things i need to and then sell it when the time is right...plus the economy sucks right now!

 

Oh, and the site I'm building is a HARDCORE tech site for the Accord alone. All generations, covering engine swaps, modifications, general maintenance, ghetto upgrades (stealing parts from other Hondas) and conversions.

I'm collecting tech articles and information on the Accords, the engines (F20, F22, F23, H22, H23, V6) and transmissions, gear ratios, bore, stroke, compression, etc.

There will be a forum that is broken up into more categories for more precise management of information, and I won't be afraid to turn really good posts into tech write-ups.

There will also be ideas for building plans of engines, making custom modifications, dyno graphs, etc. Just about every resource you can think of will be there.

It's not meant to be competition for HT.com but more of a resource dump for us to use. Note how there are no FAQs or stickied Tech articles here? That will change on my site.

Oh yeah, and I'm accepting volunteers to write articles too.

 

Yeah, the economy sucks. I'm unemployed and have been since November. Grr.
