Default Bigger Brakes

Hi all,

Im doing a complete suspenstion overhaul, and I have a question before I go on. Anyways, this is what Im doing to my car:

Skunk2 Pro-S
Skunk2 LCA
Skunk2 F&R Cambers
ASR Rear Brace + Sway Bar
Integra Rear Disc converstion
10.3" front rotors + ITR Calipers

ANyways, question is, Im still on Stock wheels with hub caps , when I put on the bigger front rotors and ITR calipers, will they fit with the stock wheels? Or do I have to put some bigger rims on there?

If so, any ideas on some rims? Black hatchback EG, stock exterior except black housing headlights, smoked corners, and smoked side markers.

Thanks
Matt

Default FV-QR

Get some 98+ Civic EX steelies. They have a +40 offset, are 14x6 (or is it 6.5?) and will fit over the 10.3" brake setup.

no...you need at least 15" rims...im running 10.3 front CIvic SI brakes and they BARELY clear the 14 steelies...so if your planning on running ITR Calipers you will most definitely need 15 inch rims....

From what I've read up on, for some reason if you run the rear disks you need 15" wheels. Not sure why, but that's what seems evident. I may be incorrect. You could always try to find some Scion xB steelies... they're 15" and you can get hubcaps if you're going for the stock look.

Why would you need 15" rims for rear disc brakes? The Integra LS/RS came with 14" rims and they had rear disc brakes, so did the 90-91 CRX Si.

I rock 14's on stock rear disk - 15 is going be a little easier on clearance but still

So 15s or 16s are the best bet.

Any of you guys have some good suggestions for some rims?

AFter lookking at some rims, I foudn these I liked.

Buddy Club Wheels - P1 Racing SF Challenge

Part #: BC01-SFC167042410-WR

Bolt Pattern 4x100
Width 7.0"
Diameter 16"
Color White w/ Red Lip
Offset +42

What would be the best tires for this setup.

Im not to sure how it works but 205/45/16 would be good?

which year car do you have? 92-95 say to run 205/40 and 96+ say to use 205/45. I had 205/45 on my last coupe (a 95) and there were no issues. I just ordered some new 16" wheels for my car and for tires I went with a 215/45. It's gonna see some track time so I need the sidewall. It depends what you want though. I think the 205/45 will be fine. 205/40 just looks way too rubber-bandish to me.

Not trying to attack you but why post information that might mislead someone though?

For an 93 Hatch, 15 or 16s better looking on a 205/45/(15/16)

You're going to be hard pressed to find 205/45/15s.

I always thought that 15'' wheels look better on 92-00 civics.

They seem to work better as well. There are a few good tire choices available for 15'' wheels that may not be available for 16'' wheels since you'll have to go with a smaller sidewall.

I think that's gross.

I hate polished lips on most vehicles....ESPECIALLY FWD cars with weak offsets.

for 15 inch wheels, 205/50. for 16 inch, either 205/45 or 215/45. I wouldn't go with a 40 series profile since its way too damn thin and you'll end up popping it and possibly cracking or bending your rims.

Offsets and widths are weak.

I would have gone with some Work Emotions (or rota torques if you want to perpetrate). Those are some of my fav. wheels.

You could also try some ITR replicas if you can find them. These are the real deal. You get the idea, though. Although, the offsets will probably be weak just like the real ones. Although, my car was WAY too low.

Ive always liked the ITR spec rims, the white ones

As for availabilty where I am and pricing, I think im just going to stick with the buddy club`s. but I dont know whether to go all white, or with red lip, or black with red lip.

Hmmm
