Well, the past six months I've been sitting around thinking about the LATEST "Limited Edition" Buddy Club SF colors. First it was gunmetal, then the limited edition flat black, which I got, and now the Challenge edition.

Beginning to get bored with just black on black, I've been craving some contrast, which got me wanting something like those.
I've been thinking, "Screw that, I can just paint it and save the time and money."

However, I wasn't too sure on the quality of my painting abilities and such, so I've been hesitating. But then, I decided on an even better solution. I just went down to the nearest freaking Kragen, picked up a reel of red ricer pinstripe, and Time Attacked my own wheels. This way if I didn't like it, I could just peel the stuff off.
Sorry I didn't take any pics of the process, but it's pretty self explanitory.
1. Clean the wheels.
2. Take the pinstripe and apply carefully, making sure to stay even.
3. Press down on it after applied to make sure it adheres well to the wheel.
4. Rinse and Repeat.

The results of $7.00 and 10 minutes of my time: Pretty good IMO.
A simple little upgrade for those of you looking for a easy way to see how your car would look with the time attack wheels everyone's been loving, and then take them off when you're done with the look, or if you don't like it.

Yeah, not the same as the Challenges, but I don't care.
This is a simple experiment: to show that it's easy to put that silly little red stripe that everyone freaks out over on the wheels just to see what your car would look like with one.
As for the lip comment, I like it, and it tucks my huge *** muffler, so it's not coming off.
Nice dude. Now I can say that it's easy to put on, take off, and it lasts for a long time!

Wow, they came out sweet. Anyone have the pictures of that WRX/STi -- I think -- that had had Slipstreams with the red pinstripe? Actually, any Slipstream or any Spoon wheel with that pinstripe.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I just grabbed the first generic 1/4" thick reel of vinyl pinstripe from the local auto store, and that's more than enough to cover all the wheels, even if you mess a few up.
Just look around, I'm sure they've got all kinds of different colors in the auto stores.
Thanks for all the comments everyone, I know this will come in handy for people wanting to experiment with the "time attack" look, and don't want to deal with the permanence of paint.
