Need some help and advice please
I own an 05 Civic and can't find an answer to a problem I have. Possibly, first mistake was buying cross drilled/slotted rotors. I've had these rotors on my car for near 15k miles. Broke them in correctly, and am not hard on my car whatsoever. (rotors are Power Slot)
My problem is: when braking lightly I can feel a slight pulsation in the steering wheel the past few months, also have had a vibration at around 65-70 mph. (and rims are NOT bent) I replaced two tires which were high in roadforce, checked other two (which were well in spec 2 months ago) and have rebalanced them all twice since then. I still have the vibration at the same speed.
Has anyone with a 7th gen ever experienced something such as this? Could the rotors be the cause of my problem? Any and all help is most greatly appreciated.

what are your brake pads looking like??? are they worn down ... slotted rotors causes a little vibration to the wheel ... do you have an ex or dx,lx??? ABS is also a major factor when it comes to your cars braking power ...
My brake pads look hardly even worn. (factory pads) It's a Civic LX (no abs) I'm considering just going back to OEM rotors and sanding pads.
THE TIRES MAY NOT BE BALANCED CORRECTLY OR LIKE HOME BOY SAID, YOU MIGHT NEED AN ALIGHNMENT. OR YEAH THE ROTORS MIGHT NOT BE STRAIGHT. PAY THE TEN DOLLARS TO GET THEM TURNED

no need to type in all caps.
if the steering wheel shakes when you're traveling at a certain speed, you need to get your wheels balanced and an alignment
if the steering wheel shakes when you're braking, get your rotors resurface or get new rotors/brake pads all together.
