Hi,
Would you guys tell me how to take off door panels on my Civic 97 LX
Does any one have a diagramm where screws are and what to take first?

I don't have a diagram.

If you remove the small pocket and the door handle plastic cover (both philips screwdriver) and also the window crank (if manual) and also remove the speaker surround/speaker, the door panel you can pry off from the bottom corner first. Once you pop one pop tab, the others come off easier. Then you can lift the panel off the door. Remember to watch any wires if you have power options.

Yea what he said. Basically there arent any specifiec screws to take out first and the rest are push pins (pop tabs).

 

go to a library and get some Chilton's manuals for it if you need any more help

The key is to push the tab at the front end of the door handle and then only pull on the door handle COVER, not the entire door handle. The piece that is removable is just the outer casing of the door handle. Pulling on the entire door handle, while pushing the tab will not get you anywhere. Only pull on the casing of the inner door handle.
