ok so i have a 95 honda civic, and want to throw the d16y7 head on there, how much power will i gain??? the car already has intake,full exhaust,no ac compressor,header,and thats basically it.

why not go with a z6 or y8 head, your kinda shooting yourself in the foot, that head swap is kinda pointless as far as power gains, your only change is going from 92-95 DX/LX obd1 head to 96-00 DX/LX/ obd2 head

minimal gains at best. you'll want a z6/y8 head to feel a difference.

he's gonna get almost a point and a half of compression.....so he's getting a torque gain. he's getting a very minimal hp gain though. but yeah vtec head is a better option

well i did a mini me swap in another car of mine so was just planning on throwing it on another honda of mine, but idk i guess i might as well just go vtec
