Default How would Blox HSL's cams be on my motor?

I have a 81.5mm GSR block around 10.5:1 compression. ITR head, IM, TG. Fully built but I'm rockin b16 cams now and my car is starving for air. I'm on a very tight budget and a local guy has some for cheap BNIB. What will they do to my idle? Low end and top end? Thanks. I know this is a played out question but I'm really bad at matching cams with setups.

since those cams are copy's of the skunk2 stage 3 tuner series cams, I would suggest you go take a look at Skunk's site and see what they recommend for a build to support them before making a decision.

dont hsl's require allot more cr then you have for best results? i thought they liked 12:1Cr+ i may be wrong but i would think s2s2 would suit you better even those i think you will need to bump your cr. If you plan on keeping the same compression i would just get bc3+ cams.

Are you going to be tuning with anything? I think RM M21/BC3+/S2S1/Toda A would all be a better profile for you.

I'll be sending you my roommates head very very soon.

I am runnung a .072 headgasket so it shouldnt take much to bumo the compression if I need to. I'm trading some piant work for cash and cams.

Tuning with Crome. I agree on all of those but these are BNIB and I'm trading them for work. I'm getting them for almost free.
