They either painted it, or they put a yellow film over it.

They make paint for glass.
And im sure you can find the film on ebay or something.

If your referring to a USDM front the high beams were either painted yellow, or a yellow film was used as stated above. On my car I used Krylon yellow transparent glass paint. I'm pretty sure that LaminX is the company that makes a yellow transparent film. I'd go with the film because it's easily removable.

If your referring to the JDM integra lights, they are equipped with a yellow backing in the housing that creates the yellow light in the foglight from the factory.

Keep in mind the blue tegs got yellow bulbs so their only yellow when they light up. and night youd have no clue unless your high beams are on. The first tegs, the black one, has yellow painted lens. So whether his lights are on or not you see them yellow.

In my area its illegal to have any paint or film over a light so check out your laws before you paint or use a film, yellow bulbs in my area arent illegal.

I love the look of the yellow lights but they are pointless on high beams unless your always using your highs, I NEVER use my high beams. Im going to rewire my high beams into city lights. So theyll have clear lenses but when my corner lights turn on my high beams will as well, yellow and dim so that when Im driving around my buddys mobil home park or on 25mph streets I can turn my lights off and just have my city lights glowing. Where as if I had them on my high beams i wouldnt be able to use em.

the ones i have are hid but the nokya yellow ones are 9005. they are running lights, they dont blind people, and they give off that yellow glow much brighter then the mod your talking about, yet they do not blind people. theyr only 35. and you wont get a ticket

exactly thats why you scrafice them and make them "fog lights" but they dont blind any one . you know that the yellow film doent make the light that yellow.
you know what would be good , the yellow film AND the bulb now thats hot.

it all depends what you want

haha No no, but the fog light is what people have inmind a lot of the time when they turn their high beams yellow and keep them turned on cause they wont be much brighter then your city lights anymore.

Tweek boi i gots a question. I PMed you but anyway
Youve got your city lights yellow right? Do those bulbs work on the high beam socket? Just plug the bulb in and it makes them DRL lights? Youd still have to rewire then if you wanted them to turn on with your ambers yeah?
Yours look good but Id want those instead of my high beams, I wanna keep my city lights, if thats what you call them.

yeah for some reason it doesnt pop up like it should so ill reply here. the bulb is 9005 so you can just take out your oem high beam bulb and you just plug it in. its birght yellos , stop signs glow yellow. it doesnt blind any one like a pair of crazy HID bulbs with no projector, you get me? and with the tint it will give you that yeloow and it looks yellow when you have them off. i used to have my nokya yellow bulbs in my high beams but then i got the hid bulbs that came in that color.
city lights are mor like amber or orange but the ones i mentioned are hyper yellow, ReAl JdM yO

hahaha well I dont care how JDM they are, I could just add a lil spray to them and make them darker. But my main question was does it make it dark enough to not blind people so Ill probably try those out. Im going to get the foglights made for the 94 integra and their gonna be yellow filmed so I dont want yellow on my high beams as well, thats a lil to much for me. Ill just have to look into rewiring the high beam socket with my corner ambers and try to match their with light bulb spray or just find em in that color. Thanks, I learned something.

who are you talking to?? the guy with his red teg?
thats film- pretty easy to install.

or me with the bulbs?
they were 30 bucks but with tax they were like 31-32 bucks.
its easy you take out 9005 hight beam bulbs and replace them with new ones.
just like that.. no wires or holes or nothing like that.
