Thanks for the pic! LOL now I'm confused. the one on the red teg looks pretty much how I expected it to. BUT in the spoon catalog and on JDMland the DC2 muffler looks differend that the EG's and DC5's. Has the design been changed at all?

 

The one that Marlon88 posted is the 2nd generation one from what I recall.

The 1st gen had a smaller can and as a result, a slightly longer extension from the muffler to connect to the tip - something I used way back in 1998. Due to the size of the second gen, it's also quieter. I haven't personally fitted a 2nd gen to my car, but going from what others have said, it's not much louder, if any louder than stock.

Thanks for all the info guys! I should be seeing mine in a week or so, then I'll install it and post some pics. (PHEW) I was so scared when I saw the old street muffler pic! I can't wait to get it now!

 

 

My Friends 98 spec DB8 ITR w/ a Spoon Street Type Muffler. I wish i had those in my DC2

Looks good, most likely sounds good. I have a Spoon N1 and love it! Good quality stuff.
