why you say that? the car is in mint through and through right down to the floor mats. and it has under 53,000 miles on it. my mom was the previous owner. i bought it from her for 7 grand. and my dad kept the engine and all the mechanics in tip top.
I WAS going to buy a 2005 chrysler 300 but my credit is not great and i did not want to spend an arm and a leg on interest rates. plus i owned a '90 honda accord already. and that thing still drives. im happy about my car and im in love with AC!!!! yes i have AC again!!!!

Any consumer report on the 2001 V6 Accord says that!

That is why Honda extended the warranty on the V6 transmissions too 7yr/100k mile or whichever comes first. There have been a number of 2001 Accord V6 owners experience transmission failure between 50 - 70k miles. It didn't matter what type of regular maintenance was completed. If it's going to go it will. Leaving you to foot the bill now.

But that's not saying all of them are like that.....

Congrats on the purchase

My bad... if you read down further it goes on to mention that it includes the I4 auto transmissions as well. They are also listed to have hard shifting problems in the I4 auto trans.

Consumer Review,

The Auto trans hit's the top of the Cons list. And is posted to have three related problems.
