Default Integra SEDAN spoiler removal

Is this any different for a 98 sedan vs a 2dr? To my understanding, all I have to do is unscrew the 2 bolts under the trunk, lift the spoiler off the trunk, and the wires and their plugs will just show themselves? Then I can unplug and tuck the plugs back into the trunk lid? (I believe the spoiler on the car is a OEM with brakelight) Thanks!

Also, when I go to home depot, where can I find those plugs? What are they called? Pictures of integras with plugs would be greatly appreciated.

Two acorn nuts on both sides of the trunk. Just unbolt them. Then use fishing line on the adhesive gasket to remove the spoiler from the trunk.

Yes.. should be 4 (10) mm nuts.. Then unplug the harness to the spoilers brake light and plug it into the connector on the rear hatch glass.. if you do have 3rd brake light.

Will it leave a sticky residue? Also, I assume I can easily install it back on as easy it was to remove?

I seem to be stuck on this seemingly simple task. I removed the screws and the 1 wire going from the trunk lid to the spoiler is on the passenger side of the trunk. I go to pull it out of the trunk, and it is suck and I see to wire clip. I also cannot pull it from out of the spoiler. What am I missing? Do I have to cut the wires?

To cover the holes up, you can use E-tape and cut a couple small circles out of them (bout the size of of a penny). Afterwards, use matching touchup paint and paint the circle E-tape cutouts and slap em on. Smooth as butter if you do it right. I wish I had a better pic of my old DB to show you.
