Let the bashing begin....dyno with Hondata base JUN 3 maps on my car
Not to make excuses or anything, but it was 35 degrees today in Toronto. The shop is poorly ventilated, and it was hot with fumes in there.
Also, I am running so rich, that the shop is filled with black fumes by the end of the run
. I have some major leaning out to do
The cam gears were untouched as I just wanted to know what the car was making with the base maps. The redline is with the fuel partially tuned (just to ensure that I was not leaning out anywhere). My tuner is away, and this is the first chance to hit the dyno that I have had. Take a look at the temperature in the shop

By comparison, this is another Jun 3 dyno with the following mods:
Mods: DC Sports built B18C5, DC Sports JDM 4-1, DC Sports 2.5" TCS exhaust with S2000 Cat, DC Sports fuel rail, cam gears and DAC intake with Cold AIr Extension, JUN ECU, Type 2 cams, springs and flywheel, Crower rods, JE pistons, Portflow head, Benson's sleeved block, RC injectors, Ferrea .5mm O/S valves
Tuned V-AFC for proper fuel / air ratios.
Peak HP: 202.4
Peak TQ: 134.8

are you running straight pipe? if not, i recommand you to do that, my car with JUN3 put down 185, after straight, it goes straight up to 200 ! and stock ECU

Don't the SAE numbers correct for temp? I didn't think it mattered what the temp was with the SAE corrected numbers.
Yeah...celcius, not ferenheit...fricking americans

Looks good Wayne, can't wait to see how she runs tuned.
How many KM's did you put on the motor before these runs?

here is a REAL jun 3 map for comparison

With more tuning your #s will go up..
Wow.. BustaNutt, nice #s with stock I/E. There's gotta be more power available with an AEM or Icebox and nice free flow (SMSP) exhaust..

is it just me or is that second graph pretty weak?
202whp with all that work???
i dont have half the mods he has and and my motor makes almost to whp
and it was only 50 degress! i dyno'd at 70degrees.

I drove an hour to the dyno and proceeded to dyno with almost no cool down period. After the second run, the only cool down was the time that it took me to swap the chip in the ECU.
High compression motors run really hot, and they are really susceptible to heat soak, mine is no exception. With a temperature inside the shop of 93.7 F, and even hotter outside, I am losing a bunch of power there.
The way the car runs when it is cool is night/day to the way that it runs when hot. Also, these are just the base maps from Hondata, neither fuel or timing has been adjusted for my car. I will post another dyno when all of this gets tuned properly
well for comparison...my car put down 178 with just AEM and Mugen USDM headers...stock everything else. I think you should be able to get a lot more from that set up. keep workin on it.

55 Farenheit = 12 Celcius= canadian temp. in spring or fall (frisky but we canucks are not wussies)

Don't be discouraged my friend, I'm sure with some more tuning, you should see your #'s go up.
Good luck.
Good luck.
