Default 2005 Honda Civic Automatic Rolling on Slight Grades

I have a 2005 Honda Civic that tries to roll back when in drive on slight grades and then wants to roll forward when in reverse on slight grades. The automatic transmission was recently replaced but this has been happening before and after that. Other than that it drives and the gear change is great.

Thanks for everything,
Josh

when idling, the rpms are low to save fuel. at low rpms, there's very little torque generated so the car rolls whichever direction gravity pushes it...

i suggest you google how torque convertors and automatic transmissions work...
