Default M2B4 help

A guy form a local site is selling a m2b4 with a cracked bell housing. I have a m2a4 that's blown. Could I use the housing from the m2a4 with the m2b4 case. I tried to search but couldn't find what I needed. The seller says it will work I just need a little extra reassurance. Thanks

It should work fine. The only difference in the two is one has a factory installed LSD. The casing shouldn't be any different

The casing is actually about 1/2 inch wider on the M2B4. Some people in with H22 civic swaps have had axle binding issues because of this

So your saying the bell housing from the m2a4 wont work then. Cause I dont wanna do anything more than jsut swap the bell housing's. I would prefer to leave the case alone
