Default B20 build...finally underway.

Just some beginning pics of my B20 Vtec going together.
Got the block back from Justice Racing in VA last week so it's time to put it together.
84.5x89mm, EnDyn mid-dome pistons(~12:1), Eagle rods,
B16A head worked by Mike Belben, Buddy Club Spec IV cams...more to come...

Yup...that's DEVCON.

No rockers except for #2 and only 2 of those valves are installed and with only lightweight springs.
The #5 caps are on too for thrust control.

The intake ended up about 3 degrees retarded from Buddy Clubs specs.
Eh, we'll see what happens.

Yea, thats why intake is back 3 degrees. Gotta keep 4 degrees between the cams. I suppose I could scoot up the exhaust a bit more but I'm not really sure how either way will affect the powerband.

ebay 3" intake with 65mmTB on a blox manifold...Exhaust? Right now i have a "cracking at the flanges" 5Zigen header but uhm...this one deserves better so im saving for an SMSP. The little 5zigen will do for break-in
And my own side dump 2.5" exhaust.

Head is still stock atm. I blew all my money on the bottom end. I'm only at 82mm but I have the same pistons, rods, and stroke as you, and was going to run the BC4s but I ended up going with skunk pro 2s. I'll be putting them in and switching from a vafc to hondata later this month or next. I hit 174/135 on stock b16 cams and IM though.

Not bad, I think you've definately got room to grow.

Oh, and I'm using BRE for tuning. OBD0 FTW
