Yeah, an appearance post, but I must join the rice side every now and then.

Anyhow, I have a set of 95 GSR wheels (5 spoke) and a set of 97 GSR wheels (Mesh) and I'm wondering which I should put on my Red 93 hatch and which set I should sell.

Also, I've been debating about selling both and picking up a set of Kosei K1's or a set of Rotas (not sh!tstreams, but one of their less popular knockoffs) just to try and beat the **** out of them to see if they really are that strong.

Anyhow, three options

1) 95 GSR wheels
2) 97 GSR wheels
3) Rota wheels to beat up on.

Are these rirms better than the gsr's. I think for looks the gsr's are sick and the hx are kind of dull.

 

Rotas to beat on. Both lighter and stronger than the GSR wheels.

But, if you want to keep the GSR wheels, I like the 5 spoke style myself.

 

sell the 95s keep the 97 and paint them and leave the lip silver

 

Depends on your taste. The 15" GSR's look fawking hard, but the 14" HX's give you the sleeper look.

 

 

Not a big fan of the HX wheels because they are only 5.5" wide and a 195 tire bulges out on them, making for sloppy turns.

What about the Rota Subzero? I rarely see those.

 

sell both and pick up some Aftermaket wheels.

 

Does anyone like the 96 GSR wheels? I haven't heard much about those.

GSR i got a set and they look very clean and oem on my coupe..

 

i've got a set of 95's on my red 5 gen civic...looks good, but it's time for a change...i myself am thinking something hyperblack in 16"

 

ive had Si's, HX's, and GSRS. i like the webs the best!

 

I have 98 GS wheels (Look exactly like 97 GSR wheels). They are sweet. The 95 GSR rims are good looking as well. I would keep the 97 GSR's.
