yea of course why wouldnt it fit???... just put into consideration on how much ur car weighs compared to a DC and other factors that might come into play
actually the da and dc weight is very similar, it'll fit no problem, but it would probably be cheaper to mod your gsr than to get a whole type r motor
It'll work fine. What are your plans? For the price, I'd rather go with a GSR swap. Use the money you saved from the ITR swap for a LSD and some headwork.

yeah thats true... but also i seen a type r for 2500 on ebay.... but the major gain betweem the two??? whast the type r's purpose and the GSR's purpose, as in what were they designed for? what style driving and reving
type r made to be pushed a little harder but you could easily build a gsr to out preform for the money.
also dont buy ebay engines, look around for sites that have a clauses and stuff and they havent been run as hard for the most part.

type r's have the most hp per liter of displacement of any car made up to then so there pretty [freak]in awsome. but cost to much. gsr's are still great little engines they just arnt quite as fast, but cost quite a bit less.
use the money you saved to bulit it up( unless you want the braging rights)
