yeah i was thinkin about the GSR Vs. Type R, whats the better way to go, and is the type R worth the money??? and i wan know if it'l fit in my 1990 DB1 integra?? thanks alot. sorry for al the recent posts. im just always lookin for stuff to learn and need opinions from people with experience, not just text book knowladge ya know??

yea of course why wouldnt it fit???... just put into consideration on how much ur car weighs compared to a DC and other factors that might come into play

actually the da and dc weight is very similar, it'll fit no problem, but it would probably be cheaper to mod your gsr than to get a whole type r motor

turbo gsr is alittle more then a B18C5, just a thought if you have the money

It'll work fine. What are your plans? For the price, I'd rather go with a GSR swap. Use the money you saved from the ITR swap for a LSD and some headwork.

yeah thats true... but also i seen a type r for 2500 on ebay.... but the major gain betweem the two??? whast the type r's purpose and the GSR's purpose, as in what were they designed for? what style driving and reving

type r made to be pushed a little harder but you could easily build a gsr to out preform for the money.
also dont buy ebay engines, look around for sites that have a clauses and stuff and they havent been run as hard for the most part.

IMO git a D series type r motor. heard they was inexpensive and easy to MOD.

type r's have the most hp per liter of displacement of any car made up to then so there pretty [freak]in awsome. but cost to much. gsr's are still great little engines they just arnt quite as fast, but cost quite a bit less.

use the money you saved to bulit it up( unless you want the braging rights)

also the theft side of the coin, a gsr in your car is a dime adozen even built B18c5 is yelling steal me
