I know this has been covered over and over, and i know how to search but i just can't seem to find what i need to know...
f23a1 motor from a 99 accord
1) i have an auto meter mech oil pressure gauge, and i would like to install it... i know you can take out the oil pressure sender unit and replace it with a s.s. line, i'm not going to T it, not too comfortable with that, but what is the size i need? adapter needed? does it come with whatever i need to attach it to the gauge itself?
2) i have the autometer high pressure isolator, but through building the motor, and moving everything around cannot seem to find anything that came with it, except the line itself.... is it worth using? or should i just stick with a s.s. line straight from the block?

Okay that's what i was looking at buying...
But,
-where can i buy a ss line to run from there to the gauge?
-Do i need any other adapters or is there a ss line that can run straight from that adapter to the gauge?

well one thing i was wondering if i was capable of doing is not doing a T or adaptor.
My oil feed for the turbo is running from the oil pan.
The pressure sender unit wiring is messed up so the lights always on anyway.....
so can't i just run a ss line straight from the sender units location to the gauge? or am i just crazy......
i don't know why but i just can't figure this out for some reason!

A mech gauge wouldn't be my preference for safety reasons, but anyway... I just bought a sandwich adapter for all my oil feeds. I believe the adapter you'll need is a 20mm 1.5 thread if you go that route. All my lines were made custom from a local hose company, so I can't help you there.
