limp mode,popping noise out of intake
I'm new here,I have a 1990 dx with a d16a6 in it and last week I started it up and it sounded sort of like a lawn mower...ecu was in limp mode cutting off fuel at 3200 and throwing code 16 I thought it was bad ignition cables so I bought new ones and now it sounds like there a loud popping noise when I rev the engine. it is still in limp mode and runs VERY weak,not driveable. any ideas guys?

do the usual suspects o2,map tps, and run a timing on it more than likely your 02 is crapping out and throwing a light
