Default JDM ef2 front end conversion for ef sedan question...

i'm almost done with the conversion except i ran into a small problem. the headlights won't mount to the usdm core support. the core support sits about an inch back from the headlight mounting tabs. now i've read about a few conversions done, and only one of them used the headlight buckets from the jdm core support. i was under the impression that the only items required were the jdm hood, fenders, bumper, filler, headlights, center grille, and t-bar (all of which i have). is the entire jdm core support a requirement? am i going to have to fab some headlight mounting brackets?

I answered that same question at work on the phone last week.

is the entire jdm core support a requirement? Yes, if you want to do it right and fast. You can fab something up to make it work, I seen people do all kinds of diffrent things to make it work.
