fellow teg owner... Someone flat my front left tire and I'm 2hrs (100 miles) away from home. Nyc to Philly and i will be taking I-95 home. Is it safe to drive that far on donut?...lol
Spares are intended to get to the nearest place to repair your tire or get a new one. the max speed on most spare tires are about 50-55 mph. The tire is also very this and affects handling at high speeds (55mph). I would get a steely and drive home on that.
If you have no choice, put the donut on one of the back wheels (if not already). Stay over in the slow lane and go as slow as possible without causing a major slowdown or accidents. Good luck.
if you just need to get a plug have whoever is taking you to the car bring the tire to a gastaions and have it plugged or do it yourself. the sell tire repair kits at advanced auto for like 6.99...
