What do you guys think it would take to fix this?
well i found this 93 EX with 93,000 miles with the front end damage for 1200$, just from the pic below, do you think theirs anything that cant be fixed by new headlights, fenders, hood and bumper? i would just call the guy and ask him myself but it's to late tonight to call him. so thanks in advance for the help guys.
probable like 5000-6000 worth of work there.. not worth it especially for 1200 bucks in my mind....if you got it for like 200 or 300 then maybe.. but that car with the repairs will never be like stock...
Well found something else, lol. It's a 92 LX with 101,000 miles, 5 speed, clean title, little rust, damage to drivers side front fender and front door, as you will see in the pic. he says door opens and closes fine and no drivetrain rub. says it drives good, and interior is "superb". he said he will take 1100$. keep in mind that this will be a show car so i need something cheaper with body damage to start with since alot of the stuff will be hacked up anyway, since i have my hatchy for speed needs
. so whats your opinions on this and do you think it's worth 1100, i know you guys get tired of reading the is this worth that threads, im sorry. i'll post some more pics of everything b/c he will be sending them to me in the morning. thanks for the opinions and help everybody.

nope dont do that either
looks like you just need a door, fender and molding. but since its show you could go with cf fenders, new door, and im sure you'll use different side skirts anyway.

My opinion would be don't buy a wrecked car no matter what you have planned for it. If it is minor dents that are going to get pulled when it is painted should be alright. But thats just my 2 cents. Also there looks like alot of rust on the bottom of the doors there.
Very true Malachi, grey16 yes theirs little rust here and their but like i said this will be a show car, which means their will be lots of body work more than likely done, so little rust here and their wont be to bad as long as theirs no huge spots. but for 1,000 bucks its gonna be hard to pass this up i mean it only has 101,000 miles. well thanks once again everybody for the opinions and help and keep em coming, thanks
Night_Minx One mans garbage may be another man gold, or however that saying goes, lol. The man with the white sedan may just not want to fool with the car anymore or may need money or may just want something new, you never know.
I sold my last car with body damage not cuz it wasn't worth fixing, I sold it cuz i wanted something new and didnt wanna spend money on something I was gonna sell anyways.. so if u think the sedan can get u where u want to get buy it. The other car is not worth fixing and like the other guys said it's not going to look right, there is going to be gaps between headlights and the bumper, the corners........
i think 1100 is a little much for that white car. doors will run you around 500 at worst case. it all depends on the kind of junkyard you get a replacement from. the fenders are pretty cheap. and the skirts are pretty cheap as well. how far away from this car are you? i would never buy it unless i could tear it apart and look at it. the rust makes me think there is more damage than that picture will show.

good points guys, and thanks once again for the opinions and help. ok with the door and fender that'll put me up to around 1600-1700 from your estimate about the door snail, thats still not horribly bad in my opinion. thanks and keep em coming everybody.
ok its not going to be around 5000 6000 dollars to fix the front end that is maybe a 2000 3000 dollar job would say if your going to keep it go for it.
oh yea bash me all you want i work at a body shop and that is a in and out job like 1 week

Well damaged cars = cheap, and cheap =
and since im wanting to build a show car i will be ditching various body parts or hacking them up as you mall call it, it would and will be cheaper to find a slightly damaged vehicle on body parts that are easy to fix than buying one that has everything good for lots more. understand? blue book on the car is like right at 3,000 i think, deduct 500-700 for door and fender and i still end up saving $$.

Well heres some more of the pics he sent me, if they dont work then webshots is ebing gay again, so just copy and paste. Oh and how hard is it to get rid of little spots of rust? thanks once again everybody

I wouldnt buy the car unless you can do the work yourself. Also, if your buying the cars because theyre cheap and you want to save the money then
, but if your buying the wrecked cars because you dont have the money to get a non-wrecked one

I have the money to buy an unwrecked car, but i just think if i find one thats mildy damaged and can easily be fixed, then why not save some money. When you say can i do the work myself, do you mean change the door and fender? or what? thanks once again everybody.
Front bumper and radiator suructural supports plus the obvious stuff at a minimum. Looks shade tree fixable but its really hard to tell from a photo. The drivers side frame rail should be carefully checked by a dealer or a competent body shop.

reason #21312498925334 why you shouldnt build a SHOW car. try finding shells instead of junkers tho...
